Brainerd firefighters have a week with accidents, alarms and fires – Brainerd Dispatch

Brainerd- The Brainerd Fire Department has responded to numerous calls in the past few days.

On Thursday, May 15th, at 6.41 p.m., the crews were appointed by the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds to report on the water flow in Lexington Manufacturing. The crew found no smoke or fire.

At 10:04 p.m. the crews for a possible fire were called on the 8,300 block of the Buffalo Creek Circle on Thursday. The fire was visited.

On Wednesday at 12:47 p.m., firefighting teams responded to a report on a crash at the intersection of Highway 210 and Meredith Drive. The crews were canceled by law enforcement authorities before arriving.

On Tuesday, the crews reacted to a melted output in the 1000 block of the Fir Street at 10:51 p.m. The crews examined and found no active dangers. No injuries reported.

May 12th

Firefighters reacted at 6:44 a.m. to a crash at the intersection of the Washington Street and the Gillis Avenue. The crew helped with traffic control and cleaning on site. Minor injuries were reported.

At 12:28 p.m., the department reacted to a crash at the intersection of Washington and North Fourth Street. The crew helped on the traffic control on site.

At 1:11 p.m., firefighters reacted to a crash at the intersection of the motorways 210 and 371. The crews helped on site when checking traffic.

At 9:30 p.m., the department reacted to a grass fire around a power stall on the golf course. The crews deleted the fire and stayed in the standby company until the supply companies arrived.

May 11th

Firefighters responded to a crash at the intersection of the Highway 371 and Johnson Road at 2:26 p.m. The crews helped to control traffic. No injuries were reported.

At 3:58 p.m., the crews on the 6700 block of the County Highway 9 were called to a grass fire. The fire was deleted and no injuries were reported.

At 8:53 p.m. they were called to a grass fire on the 5000 block of the Cedardale Lane. The fire was deleted and no injuries were reported.

May 10th

The firefighters were called for a camper on the Walmart car park at 2:25 p.m. The crews were canceled by law enforcement authorities before arriving.

At 7:03 p.m. they were called to a grass fire on the 6700 block of the Barrows Avenue. The fire was deleted and no injuries were reported.

May 9th

The fire brigade was called to a fire at 12:23 p.m. near the railway behind the 1000 block of the Washington Street. The crews deleted the fire and no injuries were reported.

At 3 p.m. they were called to a brush fire on the 12000 block of the Stallman Road. The fire was

There were no injuries reported.

Firefighters were called at 4:38 p.m. to support the ambulance crew with an elevator assistant on the 19000 block of the Spencer Road.

They were called to a fire at the 6000 block of the Birchdale Road at 6.13 p.m. The fire was deleted and no injuries were reported.

Firefighters were called for a report on a gas line hit on the 4800 block of the Brentwood Road at 7:40 p.m. The crew closed the line and the supply company was contacted.
