Seattle Mariners Ace Logan Gilbert takes another massive step into the recovery of the injury

The sufferings of the Seattle Mariner's injuries seem to be turning better. The start of Pitcher George Kirby with her current road trip back to the Mariners and Ace Logan Gilbert is not too far behind.

Gilbert, who was placed on the 15-day injured list on April 26 with a flexor load in class 1, threw his second Bullpen before a game against the San Diego Padres on Saturday.

According to a report on “X” by Daniel Kramer from MLB.com, Gilbert touched 95 miles per hour with his fastball at the session. Seattle Pitching coach Pete Woodworth was in the battery's box for several jugs and said that he couldn't see Gilbert's Fastball, according to Kramer's report.

In another report on “X”, Kramer added that the preliminary plan for Gilbert is for him to throw another bullpen, then possibly a living blood pressure, but that is not cemented. The Bullpen meeting of the ACE on Friday concentrated on the location, the Pitch mix and how we felt during and after.

Gilbert was on or almost the top of the Major League Leaders in strikes all year round before he landed on the shelf. He achieved a 2.37 ERA with 44 strikes in 30.1 Innerings, which were set up over six starts, and had a whip of 0.79. Gilbert came to the 200/200 club for the first time in 2024. He had an ERA of 3.23 and was 220 batters in 208.2 Innerings, which were recorded over 33 starts, led the main leagues with a whip of 0.89 and was called the first time in his career as an all-star whip.

The Mariners had unfortunate health this season after having the healthiest starting trotation in baseball last year. Seattle had seven pitcher games all 2024 and was the only team in which four pitchers 30 or more games started. The Mariners have already used seven start jugs this season and will outperform this number when Kirby drives his string.

But it looks like the injuries in Seattle are going to turn better.
