Peabody School Community mourns the death of the 8th grader

Peabody, MA consulting services, will be made available to the needy of Peabody students on Monday after the unexpected death of a eighth grade student.

In a letter to the school community, superintendent Josh Vadala said that the schools with a broken heart hear the news about the death of the student and that “our hearts, thoughts and prayers go to the family, friends and the entire community”.

He said that additional information would not be shared out of respect for the family privacy.

“This loss can raise many emotions, concerns and questions for the entire school community, especially for our students,” said Vadala. “It is very difficult for all of us to face the death of a young person. Mourning consultants will start at all schools for pupils and employees (Monday).”
