A pregnant woman and a 21-year-old man were killed in an obvious murder self-murder in the northwest of Indiana, according to the Coroner's Office of Lake County.

The forensic doctor's office said on Sunday that the deaths were reported on Friday at 11:22 p.m. in the 400 block of the Clark Road in Gary.

The woman was identified shorter by the family on site as a 21-year-old chase.

A forensic autopsy confirmed that she died of gunshot wounds and her death was ruled as a murder, said the forensic doctor.

The second victim, who was also identified by the family at the crime scene, was 21-year-old Brice Taylor. According to the forensic doctor's office, he was listed as the resident of the 7300 block of the Parrish Avenue in Hammond.

Taylor died of a gunshot wound and his death was ruled as a suicide after a forensic autopsy.
