Photos and videos – why evolution is true

Today the 11th day, since Esther's duck küchen hit the water, and it is time to share some photos and videos of her, Mordacai (yes, he's still here) and to share her brood.

But first we were lucky enough to get a video with the kind approval of a degree in the duck, which slipped under Esther, whose nest, as you may remember, was on the floor. This video was recorded on May 6th, and you can see how you looked among yourself, newly hatched duck. One who has just hatched is still wet from the egg, while others, a little older, are dry. There were a total of seven, although one disappeared to unknown causes on the first night. Be sure to listen to the pupils of the students as you see the babies: “Holy cow!” “Oh my God!” (I've shown this video before, but it was set up again because it is nice.)

They stay under mother on the first day and beat the water on the second day what they took. . . Well, like ducks to water. (See the photo of your first moment in the water here.)

The remains of Esther's rather raw nest; You can see the broken egg shells. Although she is a rather incompetent nest builder, she is a great mother in the water.

It didn't take long for Esther to take a tour of the pond so that they could learn the surroundings. They quickly learned to use the duck ramps so that they could climb out of the water and dry them in the sun. In this photo she looks proud of me, but of course that is anthropomorphic.

This looks like the fifth brood of five when a duckling was missing for a day, but, but, Mirabile DictuReturned the next day. I have no idea where it was.

This video shows how she intentionally swim with her mother when Esther decided to swim in a certain place. At other times, she loll around and the duck chicks spread over a large part of the pond.

Esther and the babies. It is warm among her: I was told about 100 ° f.

Mother and most babies a nap:

Mordecai nacking. He is an excellent father who leaves extraterrestrial drakes who try to take Esther time. You can see that it is well fed by his stomach that hangs over the edge. We call such people “Dali Ducks”.

Here is a video of the duck (7), in which it is found that there are stones on which you can climb, get some sun and dry.

After all, there is a passel of duck küken (the formal name for such a group is a “herd”, a “wadling” or a “raft”). Unnecessary to mention that the pond is a nice day full of spectators who are expelled over the babies and go over the babies and take photos of them. In the absence of turtles or fish, the ducks and duck are the main attraction on the Botany pond:
