Indy 500 News: Indy 500 by Team Penske Naht Seel

The IndyCar officials discovered that a seam had been filled on the back of the wastewater and that Auto #2 had violated the regulations.

The car from Will Power #12 passed the inspection, but was also violated with the modification and was withdrawn by Team Penske from almost 12.

Scott McLaughlins #3 car did not have the same modification, although he did not take part in qualifying after an enormous exercise accident.

The weaker acts as a crash structure in which the rear light is housed in the rear lamp, and is a controlled component that cannot be changed. It is believed that the seam was filled to achieve a theoretical aerodynamic advantage by reducing air resistance.

Kevin Blanch, the technical delegate of Indycar, said: “There was a violation of the assault on this back weaker. As quickly as this process led through the technology, we all brought them into line and then towards the end or before qualifying, they decided that they would simply pull themselves out of line.”

After the cars No. 2 and #12 had been withdrawn, Team Penske, Tim Cindric, described the problem as “arbitrary”, but it was a problem.

“Essentially, car No. 12 had insisted in the inspection. When Auto No. 2 went through the inspection, it was pointed out that the officials did not basically like what they saw on TV,” said Cindric.

“There was a mixture in the damping agent and we decided the car #12, let's watch it, and the car no. 12 was the same.

“There was really no reason to drive car no. 12 and know that it was like the car #2 and that they didn't like car no. 2.

“In fact, I went back and looked at car No. 3 from this morning, and that didn't have it, so it was a bit accidental internally that we had to sort out.

“It is a shame that we didn't give our boys the chance to do it.

“In my understanding that Auto No. 12 actually went through the inspection and that the officials did not like car No. 2,” he added.

“When we asked if we could change or change this before we run, it became known at least initially that we could possibly do this.

“If I were one of the competitors, I would have the same argument that they can only change certain things as soon as they exist.

“So that was outside of what you can do as soon as you have gone through the inspection. At the end of the day we didn't do it right.”

It will mean that McLaughlin from the 10th, Newgarden of 11th and power from 12th.

It is in a strong contrast to the efforts of last year, when the team has excluded the first row.

The leading McLaren driver Pato O'Ward, who qualified third place, took the roof with Team Penske for an obvious violation.

“You didn't accidentally do it because you had the soldering lamps there to get it out,” said O'Ward.

The Mexican sympathized with the four drivers who had to play the last chance qualification games.

Jacob Abel from Dale Coyne Racing was excreted from the race, while Marco Andretti (Andretti Global), Marcus Armstrong (Meyer Shank Racing) and Rinus Veekay (Dale Coyne Racing) were crossed.

O'Ward claimed that the change in the damper would have been present in the car the day before.

“I feel bad for Abel and everyone who has made qualifying the last chance,” said O'Ward.

“This [Team Penske] Cars were not in the regulation. These cars should be in the qualification game of the last chance … Because they had that yesterday, I guarantee them.

“Someone has pointed out to this day. If they were disqualified today, they should have been disqualified yesterday.

“It is a shame. You don't have to do this stuff. You are a great team. You have great drivers. Why do you make that?

It is the second instance in a little more than a year in which Team Penske was violated after the widespread push-to-pass scandal.
