Clock: 'American Idol' candidate shares the power package duet with your favorite singer

Kolbi Jordan's journey on “American Idol” closed the circle in the final on Sunday evening when the top 10 candidate entered the stage with her favorite singer Patti Lable.

From the moment the judges Lionel Richie, Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan Jordan met, their love for Labellle was obviously – so much that Richie referred to the R&B icon during her advocate to briefly connect the two singers.

“My dream is that they both stand next to each other,” said Richie after the call.

Although Jordan left the competition at the beginning of this month, the top 10 “Idol” was able to achieve a different goal when she performed “Lady Marmalade” with a Lagle in the final of the 23rd season. Lable originally recorded the song in 1974 as a member of the R&B Group Lable Lable.

The Powerhouse duet is a highlight – if not the highlight – from Jordan's time on “American Idol”. Other remarkable moments are their increasing reproduction of “above the rainbow” (from “The Wizard of Oz”) and one of the coveted three platinum tickets of the season.

Jordan was eliminated during the “Ladies Night” round, in which she performed “The Chain” by Fleetwood Mac.

The end of the episode on Sunday revealed Jamal Roberts as the champion of season 23 and the latest “American Idol”.
