House GOP pushes Trump's budget package forward after the setback

Washington – President Trump's domestic political legislation cleared another hurdle in the house late Sunday Conservative rebelled Friday In terms of concerns, the legislation does not contain any steep expenditure.

The opposition performed the legislative template, while negotiations with the Republican leadership over the weekend led to try to bring conservatives on board, and culminated with the House budget Committee, who is planning a second vote on Sunday to bring them closer to the self -imposed memorial period of the lower chamber.

Four conservative holdouts – Reps. Chip Roy from Texas, Ralph Norman from South Carolina, Josh Brecheen from Oklahoma, Andrew Clyde from Georgia – this time agreed to be present at the law instead of the legislation, and allowed it to be found in a vote in which 17 members were in favor and 16 against legislation.

House's spokesman, Mike Johnson, a Republican from Louisiana, said on Sunday evening that “talks have become great” and that there will be some “small modifications” of legislation. He called the result of Sunday “a big victory”.

Johnson is obliged to temporarily enter the legislation that extends the tax reductions of Mr. Trump's first term and temporarily to end taxes for tips and overtime before the memorial day, although some factions in his party, as he originally written, was dissatisfied. The tax measures as well as the increased expenditure for military and border security would be partially compensated for by cuts against medicaid, food brands and subsidies for clean energy.

The next stop of the legislation is the rules committee that can update the package. The household committee was responsible for summarizing the various parts of the reconciliation package into a single invoice and could not make any changes. Johnson said he expected the rules committee to record it on Tuesday or Wednesday to coordinate it for a ground vote that could happen on Thursday.

However, the legislation, which Mr. Trump calls “large, beautiful bill”, is not yet clear.

Conservatives have questioned problems with the failure of the law to install the work requirements for medical medicaid recipients without disabilities before 2029. They also want to end subsidies for clean energy that were implemented as part of the law to reduce inflation, which was signed by the law, which was signed by the law Former President Joe Biden.

A determination of the state and local tax deduction, known as Salt, is suspended with a group of Republicans from Blue States that have threatened to derail their passage if their claims are not met. It will probably also come across other obstacles in the Senate.

“We have always recognized that there will be further details about ironing towards the end,” said Johnson. “We have a few more to worry, but I'm looking forward to very thoughtful discussions, very productive discussions in the next few days. And I am absolutely convinced that we will get this in a final form and in accordance with our original period.”

On Friday, five Republicans voted in the household committee against the further development of the law, including the four, which were present on Sunday and Rep. Lloyd Smucker from Pennsylvania. Smucker said his “no” vote was a procedural step to call up the legislation as soon as their problems were solved.

Roy said reporters after the voice on Sunday that “there is a lot more work to do this week.” Norman repeated the feeling and added that the progress in the requirements for the work and subsidies of Medicaid were made as part of the law on inflation reduction.

When asked whether the rules committee could be this week, Roy replied: “We will see.”

Both Roy and Norman are also members of this committee.
