Clock: Jelly Roll -Duette with the latest winner of 'American Idol'

When Jelly Roll and Jamal Roberts entered the stage on Sunday evening during the episode of “American Idol”, none of the musicians knew that Roberts was an hour from winning the singing competition.

But Jelly Roll, a country/rap star and the artist-in-residence this season, was in a playful way before Roberts after the couple had completed his duet.

Their joint performance was one of many that defined a stars with stars to season 23, which included appearances by Patti Lable, Salt-N-Pepa and Jessica Simpson. As part of the celebrations, Roberts and Jelly Rolly Rolls played songs “Liar” and “Impression”, which appear on the artist's album in 2024.

Moderator Ryan Seacrest said that this year's final earned over 26 million votes – more than twice as high as the last episode of last year and the greatest final of the show since its broadcast on ABC in 2018.
