Man who experiences an episode of mental health while he was pistol shot, killed by the police

A man in the middle of an episode of mental health, while he was pisting a pistol, was shot by the Baltimore County police, confirmed Chief Robert McCullough.

The Baltimore County officials reacted to the 8200 block of the North Boundary Road in Dundalk at 7:25 p.m. to experience a report on a topic in an episode for mental health.

There they bumped into the topic in the back of the building, where the officials saw that he was armed with a pistol.

According to McCullough, the official opened the fire after a brief exchange between the subject and an officer.

Immediate medical help was made available to the topic on site, and it was taken to a hospital shortly afterwards where he was declared dead.

Two officers were directly involved in the incident. McCullough said both were put into administrative leave during an examination.

The department for independent investigations by the Attorney General in Maryland heads the investigation.

McCullough could not comment on certain details in connection with the incident due to the continued type of investigation.

This was the fifth shootout in Baltimore County so far in 2025, said McCullough.
