Insider clarifies Eason Chan -death rumors; Concerts postponed due to the COVID-19 diagnosis

Singer Ye Xiaoyue made it clear early Monday morning that news about Eason Chan's death is fake news. According to a Weibo post that she shared, she told her personally contacted Chan's assistant and confirmed that the singer is alive and healthy.

Shortly after the official report by Weibo about Eason Chans Fear and Dreams Tour on May 15, the shift in his upcoming concerts was announced.

According to the explanation published on Thursday, Chan felt uncomfortable the night before and was diagnosed with Covid-19 the next morning. The doctors advised him to stop all services immediately and to start calm and recovery.

Due to the sudden illness, Chan will not be able to return to Kaohsiung as planned, a situation that he finds and very regretted. The concert team has already started to convert the efforts, the explanation said. The shows originally given for the 16th, 17th and 18th of May in the Kaohsiung Arena were postponed.
