Michael Carter-Williams, former NBA rookie of the year, changes to boxing

Michael Carter-Williams is separated from his last appearance in the NBA by two years and is for his first official boxing challenge.

On Sunday, the 33-year-old American Combo-Wachmann spoke with TMZ Sports about the development of the youngest former NBA player who switched to boxing, similar to Nate Robinson, Deron Williams, Nick Young and Lamar Odom.

“We will see where it leads me, but I definitely want to fight.” He said almost a return to basketball, “I definitely want to have fights.”

After training in the ring, he will complete his transition to boxing by facing the amateur boxer Sam Khati on May 29. With the proceeds to the charity organization, a three-round fight will be part of the Broad Street Brawl in New York's Leman Ballroom.

In total, he distributed 411 NBA appearances from the Sixers to the Milwaukee Bucks, Orlando Magic, Chicago Bulls, Charlotte Hornets and Houston Rockets.
