Michael Carter-Williams is separated from his last appearance in the NBA by two years and is for his first official boxing challenge.

On Sunday, the 33-year-old American Combo-Wachmann spoke with TMZ Sports about the development of the youngest former NBA player who switched to boxing, similar to Nate Robinson, Deron Williams, Nick Young and Lamar Odom.

“We will see where it leads me, but I definitely want to fight.” He said almost a return to basketball, “I definitely want to have fights.”

After training in the ring, he will complete his transition to boxing by facing the amateur boxer Sam Khati on May 29. With the proceeds to the charity organization, a three-round fight will be part of the Broad Street Brawl in New York's Leman Ballroom.

“I know that they are coming in and try to strike out, so I'll do it” The Hamilton, Massachusetts, described his approach to boxing.

He came from Syracus in 2013 and was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 11th election of the NBA design. In his first season he was appointed rookie of the year. He was finally slowed down by several injuries. After his last NBA game, he jumped back in the G league and was a short stay in 2023 with the capital of the Mexico city before he called it for a day in 2024.

In total, he distributed 411 NBA appearances from the Sixers to the Milwaukee Bucks, Orlando Magic, Chicago Bulls, Charlotte Hornets and Houston Rockets.
