A 3-year-old boy was hit and killed by a car in the Mayfair district of Northeast Philadelphia in Mayfair on Sunday evening, the police said.

According to the police, the crash occurred at 7:30 p.m. on the 3000 block of the Teadale Street around 7:30 p.m.

The police said the 3-year-old was hit by the car after driving to the teadale street. He was taken to the hospital and declared dead according to the police.

The driver stayed on site and worked with the authorities, the police said.

No arrests were made.
