West Midlands PCC for double the number of knife consolidation containers in region

The number of trash cans of gun transmission to the West Midlands must be double.

The West Midlands police area has the second highest rate of razor crime in England and Wales after previously the highest rate.

People can dispose of knives and weapons in the metal containers. Between January and March, which were later destroyed, 1,705 weapons in the police area of West Midlands were given up in trash cans.

This corresponds to 142 weapons inputs per week or more than 20 per day. The most recent route included hundreds of flick -mhmhmers, zombie knife, kitchen knife, ankle disorders, machetes and even firearms.

The PCC said that every knife, every blade or every weapon deposited in a weapon deposited in the trash can was “possibly saved a life”.

“Weapon Surrender Bins still have a significant impact, since they play an important role in the security of people, families, companies and communities here in the West Midlands,” he said.

The PCC announced the increasing number of weapon containers during the knife week of razor crime, which takes place from Monday to Sunday.

In the meantime, around 8,000 fatal weapons have been destroyed by the handover program of the PCC.
