Flames from Liberty University

Liberty fascinated number 1 in Texas A&M in the winner of the all-take-all final of the Bryan-College regional station and won 6: 5 on Sunday evening in Davis Diamond to beat the Lady Flames' first ticket for the NCAA Super Regionals.

The Lady Flames (50-13) fell in eight Innerings in Texas A & M 14-11 in today's first game and set up today's winner-take-all final. The Aggies end their season with a 48-11 record and are the first national No. 1 seed in the Super Regional era (since 2005) that do not qualify for Super Regional. Liberty defeated Texas A & M 8: 5 yesterday and added the 6: 5 win from tonight to achieve the series victory.

Liberty will take over either No. 16 Saatgut Oregon or Stanford in Super Regional this week, whereby the location is determined.

Turning point

• Liberty led after 6-0 Rachel Roupes Grand Slam in the second inning. The Aggies jumped up with a fourth place for six runs and built an 11: 7 lead that entered the soil of the seventh place.

Turning point

• Liberty returned 3-1 to the sixth inning. With two outs, Savannah Jessee Homered to bind it with 3-3. Three battery later Roupe made it 6: 3 with an explosion with three runs.

• Texas A&M was pulled into one in one with two runs in the sixth.

• Reliever Kaylan Yoder went through the narrow rope in the seventh. Yoder Kramer Eschete triggered the runners on the first and second to beat Libertys's ticket for Super Regionals.

Remarkable numbers

• Texas A & M Outhit Liberty 12-7 for the game, with the aggies made two mistakes.

Elena Escobar (25-3) achieved the victory and enabled five runs with 10 goals, went one and ended three in 5 1/3 innings. Yoder has the rescue with 1 2/3 innings of relief, walking and the subject.

• Emiley Kennedy (21-6) pulled the loss and brought three runs on a hit in a relief inside.

• Roupe went 3: 4 with two homers, four RBI and two runs achieved. Savannah Jessee 1: 3 with a Homer, two RBI and one run.

• The Lady Flames are the first team to refuse a national seed No. 1 from its regionally in the Super Regional era (since 2005).
