Azerbaijan, Iran start joint military exercise – video

The opening ceremony of the joint exercise “Araz-2025” between Azerbaijani and Iranian military took place in Azerbaijan.

First, the Azerbaijani and Iranian training leaders and other high -ranking representatives visited the memorial built to commemorate Azerbaijanic martyrs, which sacrificed and laid their lives for motherland, reports News.AZ and quoted the state's Ministry of Defense.

The memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and martyrs, who gave their lives for the territorial integrity of both countries, was honored with a minute of silence. The national anthems of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran were carried out.

At the event, the training leaders who were successful in the participants and emphasize the importance of joint exercise.

The importance of the common exercise “Araz-2025” for further strengthening the constantly developing military cooperation in Azerbaijan-Iran was emphasized. It was found that this exercise contributes to improving the mutual trust between the two countries and their armed forces.

At the end of the opening ceremony, military staff ceremoniously marched in front of the stands.
