Arsenal's defender, Jurrien Timber, has been out of operation in the past few weeks and was sitting on the bench against Liverpool before leaving the squad on Sunday against Newcastle United.

It was not the first time that Timber had missed lately because he was also absent for playing Bournemouth in the early this month. He had to see in the PSG devices on both sides, but did not complete 90 minutes in both cases.

Sam Dean from the Telegraph has revealed the reason why the player is to be subjected to ankle surgery.

According to reports, Timber has managed fitness problems in the past few weeks, and the medical staff of the club has decided that surgery is necessary to tackle the problem.

At this stage, Dean reports that it is unclear how long wood could go out.

But since Arsenal for the Champions League qualifying for the Champions League and almost a second place, this is probably the best time to carry out the operation before a summer of recovery.

At least wood should look for a few months. Everything more than that and he will miss the beginning of the 2025/26 campaign before the season and possibly even the start of the 2025/26 campaign.

It is another injury for the Gunners in a season that is surprised with them, and we wish the wood best for a quick recovery.
