Zaxby's milkshakes are back! How to complete half a deal for sweet pleasure

After a seven -year break, milkshakes are back on the Zaxby's menu nationwide.

The fast food chain announced the permanent return of milkshakes on Monday, May 19, to celebrate the company's 35th birthday.

“After years of inquiries, these beloved treats are triggered all summer at all locations in Zaxby to mark the reason in the most delicious way,” said the company in a press release.

The chain says that their milkshakes are hand -made and made with whole milk and real sugar, then crowned with real whipped cream, colorful sprinkles and a Maraschino cherry. Customers can choose from four flavors – vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and birthday cake.

Milk shake aromas inspire “sweetest memories”, “party in a cup of” vibes

According to Zaxby's, the vanilla, chocolate and strawberry shakes are “inspired by classic, scratchable flavors that reset fans to their sweetest memories”, while the birthday cake taste is a “party in a cup” that is filled with aromas of freshly baked cakes, butter cream and French vanilla.

In addition, Zaxby customers can pick up all hand -spun milkshakes from May 19 to June 1st, the company said.

The milkshakes only returned to a limited extent at the beginning of this year because they were only made available at 20 locations in Macon, Georgia. Visit Macon, who has teamed up with Zaxby's for an “exclusive market test” that invited visitors and locals both after a press release from February “more to Macon's Sweet Secrets”. They were reportedly available in some restaurants in the Atlanta area in October 2024.

The chain in Athens, based in Georgia, currently has over 940 locations in 17 states.
