Motorcyclists killed in the accident near the Luke Air Force Base

Glendale, AZ (Azfamily) – A motorcyclist died after he was hit by a vehicle near the Luke Air Force Base on Sunday afternoon.

The Glendale police reacted shortly before 5 p.m. near the Glendale Avenue and the Dysart Road to the accident with a motorcycle and a Toyota Camry.

An investigation showed that the motorcycle drove south on Dysart, while the Camry drove north on Dysart and prepared to turn into Glendale on the left. The police said the camry did not give in to the motorcycle, which caused the crash.

The motorcyclist was declared dead at the crime scene. He has not yet been identified by the police.

The driver of the Camry stayed at the scene, the police said, and he was cooperative with the investigation. Speed ​​and impairment are not accepted as factors.

The officials closed the intersection of Glendale and Dysart until around midnight for the examination.
