Court of success celebrates the first conclusion and shows the life -changing effect

Laredo, Tex. (KGNS) – The Webb County Court on Law II Youth Success makes the life of local adolescents by helping the participants to cope with legal challenges and disorders of substance consumption.

The program, which promotes changes for self -confidence and positive behavior, will celebrate a milestone with its first final ceremony this week, which takes place this Wednesday, May 21.

Judge Victor Villarreal, who monitors the program, reflected on his beginnings and said it started with a “thoughts and a dream” when the court applied for a scholarship for the first time to get it on the way. Now, after a year and a half into operation, the court is proud that 12 participants will complete the program.

“It's a big deal for her, it is a big deal for your families and it is certainly a big deal for our community,” said judge Villarreal.

The program serves youth between the ages of 12 and 17 and helps them build healthier, happy and sober lifestyles.
