Oh, hello! A video homage to Rosco Orman

Some time ago I heard an interview with Muppet Performer Stephanie d'Abruzzo. I don't remember when this was or which podcast/shows that it does not remember 100% of what she said. But she spoke about it Sesame road And mentioned that she always as a “king” of the “Welcome to the Sesame Street!” Look! What all characters do. And as soon as she said that, I could hear in my head exactly, as he said, “Oh, hello!” In this special cadence of him and realized that she was absolutely right.

And what should I not do if someone addresses such a term in a podcast? I made a stupid video about it! So the tedious task began to fit into the countless hundred episodes of Sesame Road and find as many examples as I could when I said: “Oh, hi!” Or a variation of it in the camera because I am a sad person who is little going on in their life. But if this video brings a little joy into the day of a person, it was worth it! …Right?

Many of the human characters were able to develop their own trademarks on the show during their tenure – Bob was a sweater, Alan always has this dishrag on his shoulder, and nobody like Sonia Manzano can make a setting in the camera. But apart from the fact that Rosco Orman has set a good example of a loving, caring male parent figure, he was able to record a fairly standard and somehow turn it to the point where he could be the king. For many people, the sesame Street was a real place where everyone was welcomed. And nobody could get us to feel more welcome than Gordon.

Ah, enough of it anyway, let's get why we are here – to see a ridiculous supercut! Presentation “Oh, hello! A tribute to Rosco Orman. “” Enjoy!

Wasn't that ridiculous? I bet these two words are now fried in their brain permanently.

For the curious people, the 91 clips were from 1975 to 2018. Although he didn't do much in the 1970s, you can see in the early 80s that he began to find his hook. And until 2001 (which had the most examples for every season, a total of seven), he had pretty much perfected it. Way to improve your craft, rosco!
