The 2025 Cannes Film Festival has presented several designer looks, Runway styles and much more. Nobody found out as well as putting on the trends on the red carpet for various premieres and events associated with the annual film festival.

Despite the changes to the dress code of the Film Festival in Cannes, celebrities and guests found paths to expose mere styles to their red carpet. In front of us the WWD breaks down the moments on the red carpet by Dakota Johnson, Nicole Kidman and more.

Dakota Johnson

Dakota Johnson started in the appearance of Gucci at the Kering Women in Motion Awards 2025. The actress “Materialist” described a sleeveless dress with the friendly approval of the Italian luxury fashion house, which contained a network with allover shimmering elements. The look contained a bodysuit under the transparent fabric.

Stella Maxwell

Stella Maxwell increased the drama at the premiere of “The Phoenician Scheme”. The model was wearing a dress by Cheney Chan. The long -sleeved ensemble contained a silhouette inspired by the Mermaid with sheer fabric, botanical inspiration and graded spring details.

Imogen Poots opted for dark glamor with a mere shoot in Rodarte at the premiere “Bono: Stories to Surrender”. The actress's dress was kindly approved by Rodartes autumn 2023 Ready-to-Wear collection. She equipped the look with jewelry with the kind permission of Messika. Stylist Chloe Hartstein curated poots' clothes.

Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman decided on the mere trend and the red lace. The Oscar winner wore a sleeveless Balenciaga dress with botanical inspiration and sheer dating in her ensemble. The dress showed a high neckline and a shaped silhouette. Kidman's look was curated by stylist Jason Bolden.

Julia Garner

Julia Garner also styst the pure tip with her dress. The actress wore a Burgundy -colored dress with the friendly approval of Gucci. The sheer bodice showed decorated top details. Other elements were fabric lead and fabric contrast.

The film festival from 2025 Cannes ends on May 24th. Films that premiere at this year's festival includes Wes Anderson's “The Phoenician Scheme”, Julia Ducournaus “Alpha” and Lynne Ramsays “Die, My Love”.
