Diiv's “Return of Youth” video is urgent

After Diiv 2024's best “Political Shoegaze album” from 2024, they are back with a new song. “Return of Youth” was recorded for them Frog in boiling water Meetings, but it took on a different meaning after the front man Zachary Cole Smith and his family had lost their home in the California forest fires.

“At the beginning of the year, my family and I lost our home and everything we had the forest fires in Altadena, CA,” he wrote in an explanation. “We had prepared for the birth of our second son. We lived at home in the beautiful world that I had introduced in this song, and this world was immediately away. When we pleased this song to finally publish it, I couldn't help but hear the song differently to hear the song differently.
