Man who is charged because of the death of the woman

Hudson, Wisconsin (Weau) – The man who was charged with his wife's death was found for the legal proceedings on Monday.

The 54-year-old Chad Haworth was charged with intentional murder in the 1st degree, the use of a dangerous weapon, a chaos, the use of a dangerous weapon and a tightened battery, the domestic abuse, the encouragement of physical pain or an injury, the use of a dangerous weapon.

According to a press release from the police department of the city of Hudson on Wednesday, March 5 at 3:09 p.m., the Hudson police officers were sent to an address for the report on a welfare exam in the 1600 Block of the Namekagon Street. Negotiations with the man lasted several hours and he finally left the residence. He was taken into custody without further incident and brought to the St. Croix County prison.

Two officers then went into the house after it was secured and found the victim with knife wounds on their face and neck area.

Hadworth's preliminary hearing is set for May 23 at 10:15 a.m.
