Man, who is charged with the accident in Myrtle Beach, leaves two critical injuries behind

Myrtle Beach, SC (WMBF) – The police arrested a man in Myrtle Beach after he allegedly caused an accident in which two motorcyclists were critically injured.

According to an arrest warrant received by WMBF news, 19-year-old Mason Romeo was charged with hit-and-run, which led to a great physical injury and was arrested on Sunday.

On May 17th, Romeo allegedly made an illegal U -turn on the South King Highway from the middle lane, causing a motorcycle to crash with two drivers.

The two drivers were taken to a regional hospital and approved for the intensive care unit.

Their conditions are unknown at this time.

Romeo told the officials that he was “afraid of what he saw behind him” and led him to make the U -turn.

It is captured in the J. Reuben Long Habtzentrum with a bond of 10,000 US dollars.
