Watch: Alicia Keys and New Broadway Hell's Kitchen Star Amanda Reid sing “The River”

Production is also celebrating the casting with the publication of a deluxe edition of the Show's Grammy winner, which is now available in streaming networks. The new edition was published by Alicia Keys Records/Interscope Records and contains three newly recorded bonus tracks. Reid and Keys recorded “The River”, and the current Star Durrell “Tank” has recorded its settings “if I don't have you” and “not even the king”.

Reid was last seen at Apple TV Me As carter and previously published Miss Juneteenth. She is a current music theater student at Shenandoah University.

Hell Contains music and texts by Keys and a book by Kristoffer Diaz. Inspired by the 15-fold life of the Grammy winner, the story focuses on 17-year-old Ali and her mother and shares a cramped apartment near Times Square. Ali wants to live her dream in NYC, but Mama is afraid that her daughter will repeat her own mistakes. Ali is further confused when her alienated father – Davis, who is a musician – comes back to her life.

The show was opened in the Shubert Theater on April 20, 2024 after he started on March 28th – the reviews here. Michael Greif leads the work that contains the choreography of Camille A. Brown.

The music team consists of music director Lily Ling and orchestraters Adam Blackstone and Tom Kitt with arrangements from keys and blackstone. The creative team also includes the scenic designer Robert Brill, the costume designer Dede Ayite, the light designer Natasha Katz, the sound designer Gareth Owen, the projection designer Peter Nigrini, the designer Mia Neal, Michael Clifton, Hair and Pücken designer Mia Neal. Foresight Theater is General Manager and Danny Maly acts as a production manager.

Broadway production was nominated for 13 2024 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. It won Tonys for Moon and Lewis' appearances and also took the Grammy Award home for the best music theater album.
