The legislators of Nevada advance the legislative template to prohibit gun ownership due to offense criminals

A legislative template that would make it illegal for someone who was convicted of an offense if she had or bought a weapon for up to 10 years after her conviction in the legislation of Nevada.

Senate Bill 89, sponsored by the democratic legislator Julie Pazina from South Nevada, was equipped with 12 to 8 votes from the Senate on Monday afternoon.

“I am enthusiastic about seeing my colleagues in the Senate, supporting Senate Bill 89, and I am looking forward to the fact that this legislation is adopted the meeting and signed in the law,” said Sen. Pazina. “This is a common sense that aims to protect Nevadans by keeping firearms from the hands of those who were convicted of hate crimes. This is an important step to ensure that all Nevadans feel safe in our state, regardless of the color of your skin, who you love or how you worship.”

The draft law is now made available for the assembly in order to receive a possible coordination.

Governor Joe Lombardo, a Republican, has lodged a trio of weapon control costs, including a version of this exact invoice.
