Prosecutor's office – NBC 6 Südflorida

A man who was accused of being fired and killed in a murder held in front of the camera hoped that a judge would grant him a form of publication if he waits for the process.

The police accused 22-year-old Marcuss Eagly to rob the gold medallion of 21-year-old Malcom Avery Johnson Jr. and then killed him.

The surveillance video recorded the 2023 shootout on May 30th in the area of Northwest 170th Street and the Northwest 3rd Avenue. In the video, two men put on Johnson, rob his personal objects, shoot him and then drive away.

The second man, Mario Fogler, who was also charged because of the murder, admitted that he was the records of the man who bears a yellow hoodie in the video.

In March, Fogler was guilty of murder's second degree and, according to records, was sentenced to 20 years in prison, followed by two years of probation. However, Fogler has to testify in a future legal proceedings or a legal proceedings against EAL.

“The defendant agrees that he is willing to testify against the open dish against Marcus Eagly. Including that Eail fired the weapon to murder Malcolm Avery Johnson Jr.,” said Sergeant Maria Pinillos from the North Miami police department on Monday during an Arthur recruitment.

Prosecutors are confident that their fall against Egly is strong. In addition to the confession of the co -accused, they also explained on Monday that the defendant's brother wrote a letter to them in which they admit that Eley was the shooter.

The public prosecutor also discovered selfies from Ehly, with his girlfriend posing with the medallion in a hidden folder on her cell phone, a few hours after Eagly allegedly killed a man for it.

Eail denied all allegations and hoped to get a house arrest.

The judge Cristina Miranda, however, denied the granting of Ealy, especially since the police had already monitored it through a secret camera before the murder 2023 took place. The law enforcement authorities built a camera outside of Eagly's house because of its alleged participation in gangs and due to the recent shootings in the residence.

“I cannot say in any good awareness that it would be certain for the community to return this defendant to his house, to which the law enforcement agencies to place a polarity camera to observe what is going on,” said Miranda.
