Lexington, Virginia – Washington and Lee University will organize their annual ceremony for W&L Athletic Awards in Brookby on Tuesday, May 20th, in Holekamp Gymnasium. The event, a celebration of the achievements of W&LS student athletes and sports teams, begins at 5:30 p.m.

As in previous years, the ceremony is streamed live at Generalsssports.com. The spectators can also watch on TV with the W&L Sports Network -pp on a Roku streaming device.

The department is broadcast 11 large awards during the event, including:

• Richard Miller sports lessons scholarship
• JL “Lefty” Newell Memorial Award
• Re “Chub” Yeakel Memorial Service Award
• Wink Glasgow Spirit and Sportsmanship Award
• Excellent award for men in the first year for men's athletes
• Excellent award for women in the first year women sports athletes
• William D. Mchenry Herren Sport Scholar-athlete Award
• William D. Mchenry Women's Sport Scholar-athlete Award
• Pres Brown Senior Men's Sport Award
• Pres Brown Senior Women's Sport Award
• Athlete of the year

The Brookby Family W&L Athletic Awards Ceremony is one of the most expected events in the department and recognizes excellent performance in athletics, academics and leadership.
