Guardian's score against Phillies: Kyle Schwarber blows up 2 homes, Phillies empty guard

Kyle Schwarber extended his stripes to 46 games with two homes and Zack Wheeler worked seven dominant innerings when the visiting Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Cleveland Guardians 3-0 on Sunday, May 11th.

Schwarber met a solo homer in the first and two runs in the eighth and moved into a tie with the judge of New York Yankees for the Major League with 14 Homeruns with 14 Homeruns. His base strip is the fourth story in Phillies history, 10 behind Mike Schmidt's 56-game run from 1981 to 1982.

The native of Middletown, Ohio, was born every time he fought as a result of his heroic deeds in the World Series in 2016 when his Chicago Cubs defeated the Cleveland Indians in seven games.

The Guardians right-handed Luis Ortiz (2-4) accused six Innerings and gave up the first Black Homer and four goals with nine rashes. He fell 2-1 with an ERA of 0.95 Era in a four -career against Philadelphia.
