College basketball results, results: Michigan translates Wisconsin to win the Big Ten tournament title

The day on which College basketball fans have been waiting for months has finally arrived.

Before the selection Sunday exhibition and March Madness dominate the headlines, five conference tournaments had to complete.

In the Marquee Big Ten championship game, Michigan had a 59: 53 victory after a back and forth against Wisconsin.

The game was an ugly defense fight in the first half before the Badgers achieved a lead of 11 points in the middle of the second half. But Michigan gathered when it was important with his own runs and did just enough to hold the Badgers.

Florida completed Tennessee in the second championship game for an 86-77 victory, which was not as tight as the final result would indicate this. The Gators checked the game for almost its entirety and withdrew after a short run from Tennessee in the second half.

In the other conference title, Yale blocked the automatic offer of the Ivy League with a win against Cornell and VCU passed Georgia Mason to win the Atlantic 10 conference. Then Memphis took care of securing the AAC tournament title.
