Man who was arrested on the Japan Expressway after false driving

A Peruvian man was arrested after driving his car on the wrong direction on an express road in Central Japan and collided with several vehicles, the police said on Tuesday.

The 34-year-old inhabitant of Nagahama, the Shiga prefecture, was arrested on Monday, with the police accused him of not reporting an accident after he had hit two vehicles around 11 a.m. around 11 a.m. around 11 a.m. around 11 a.m. on Sunday.

A bunch of four vehicles, including a large truck, occurred after one had stopped to avoid the car driven against traffic. Four women in the 40s to 60s suffered minor injuries in the accident.

The police said that the man might have made an illegal U -turn on Expressstrasse.

After the accident, he is said to have driven to the wrong way for about 10 kilometers further until he reached the parking lot of the Suzuka street side.
