Hodag Highlights: Baseball goes 1-1

The Rhinelander High School baseball team had mixed in his recent competitions against Wausau East and Antigo.
The Hodags took place on Monday, May 12th, in a non-conference game Wausau East in Stafford Field. East was in the lead until the 4th when Rhinelanders Sawyer Bishop met a 2-run single to connect the game. East then achieved 5 runs in the last 2 innerings, 4 of the runs driven by Ketyon Laszewski. Bishop stormed into the 6th Inning and gave up 4 runs.
The Hodags traveled to Antigo on Tuesday, May 13th and won against the Red Robins. The Hodags were a run on the top of the 7.8-7. With Vince White and Tyler Chariton, Dylan Vanderbunt was a double to achieve both. Two more runs scored and the Hodags held the Robins goalless and won 11: 8.
