OTEGA OWEH NBA design period, zero -äära

Playing for Kentucky basketball is far from playing in the NBA.

That cannot be overrated. Because while it can be a dream for the wildcats for Otega oweh, Lexington is certainly not the place where his imagination ends.

The tug of war, at the highest level against the best basketball players in the world, is strong enough to weigh up its options, as the deadline on May 28th withdraws from the NBA design and quickly retains the college authorization.

Oweh doesn't have to take long to make his decision. It is clear that the best way for his NBA career is to return to Great Britain.

The fact is that oweh deserves more money from a combination of names, image and similarity (and the school that pays him directly when the proposed house against the NCAA settlement is complete) when it might be received as a second round as a second round.

His existence rose after he took part in the NBA Draft Combine last week-but not high enough where he was the first round. And he should be for his rookie deal in the league on the lottery level to meet the amount that he could possibly do in the UK.

As good as it sounds, how much money can make oweh is not even the best argument for returning.

A big reason why oweh is able to become a professional is how he was able to present his skills in the British coach Mark Pope's system. Oweh established itself as a slasher who could reach the brim with the offensive loss of the open distance.

Now imagine what could be surrounded by a second year of offensive talent that the cats have through the transfer portal, including the former Pitt -Guard Jaland Lowe. Pope already has it and he believes it would be something special.

“We will see what happens to Otega,” said Pope of the sidelines with Andy Katz. “He knocks on the door of this draft, and that's why we cheer him like crazy and when he decides to come back, he can probably come back and be the alleged second player of the year.”

Oweh shot 35% from the 3-point range last season, but he only undertook 76 experiments or 2.1 per game. This corresponded to 18% of its total shots from the ground.

Just take a look at the games of last season against Alabama, why this is a problem. Bama trainer Nate Hafer deliberately submitted the defenders of NBA prototypes on oweh who were long, fast and could correspond to his physicality.

The trio of Mouhamed Dioubate, who moved to Great Britain in April, held Chris Youngblood and Jarin Stevenson in the regular season meeting and eight in the Sec tournament at a depth of two points. Oweh was only recorded on single -digit settings in which he scored three games all season.

If oweh could develop a stronger, consistent 3-point shot with its sportiness and defense ability, he would turn into a coveted NBA view. A safe argument.

So oweh should go to the league.

He only needs one team to like him and either remove him or sign it in your squad. But the way it looks for oweh is that at best it would conclude a two-way contract, which would probably mean that he would spend a lot of time in the G-Liga next season.

The accommodation die charter flights, the five-star hotels, the training table buffet in Kentucky are far better than most, if not every, if not all, G-League teams.

And that is not even to be mentioned in the UK in most cases in Great Britain in Great Britain in Prime Time in Great Britain.

This is not the life of a G -League player. It is certainly not the basketball life of oweh.
