Sixteen teenagers who were arrested for crimes that were celebrated at the weekend

The Baltimore police announced on Monday that they arrested 16 teenagers for crimes who were celebrated last weekend.

They were charged with crimes such as robbery, stolen cars, burglaries, violations of the handguns, tightened attacks and joint attacks.

Three of the teenagers were charged as adults.

The police say that eleven of the children were previously arrested and two of them were each arrested more than 9 times.

“It is incredibly frustrating to see that young people in our city are involved in violent crimes,” said police commissioner Richard Worley in an explanation.

According to the Monse Public Safety Accountability Dashboard, violent crimes and property crimes have dropped from this point in the previous year.

The murders have dropped by more than 30%, non -fatal shootings have dropped by almost 30%, and rapes, tightened attacks, carjackings, arson and burglary have also dropped last year.

“We cannot arrest our way out of this problem. We need an account, early interventions and real support for our youth to break this cycle and build a safer future for Baltimore,” added Worley.
