1 killed, 2 seriously injured in the accident with four vehicles in Aurora on Sunday, the police say, the police say

Denver – one person was killed and two more were seriously injured in a collision with four vehicles near Auroras Quincy Reservoir on Sunday afternoon.

The crash was registered by the law enforcement authorities on X, formerly Twitter, around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. The collision occurred about an hour earlier along E. Quincy Ave. Near the S. Uravan St., officials said.

The police said on Monday that a preliminary investigation showed that a Ford Mustang drove west in E. Quincy Ave when he passed the hill at high speed. An Inifinit -SUV that left of the E. Quincy Ave. In the north left to the S. Uravan St. to the north, the Mustang was hit.

The driver and sole resident of SUV – a woman – died at the scene, the police said.

The driver and passenger of the Mustang, a man or a woman, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but it was expected to survive.

Two other vehicles at the crime scene were damaged due to the crash, but nobody was injured in these two vehicles, the police added.

It is believed that speed has an important factor for the crash, and the fees will be pending with further analysis and a crash reconstruction, according to the officials.

According to the police, the fatal crash on Sunday this year is the 12th in Aurora.
