Earlier crash evidence that were inadmissible in the procedure against Derrick Thompson in the death of five

The Minnesota Court of Appeal took a blow on Monday to persecute murder convicts by the Hennepin public prosecutor's office against Derrick John Thompson's death two years ago in a car accident.

The public prosecutor tried to include evidence from Thompson's earlier criminal conviction in California in the upcoming procedure, and argued that similarities in the two crimes showed a behavior pattern.

After a judge of Hennepin County decided the evidence inadmissibly, the law firm made an appointment. In a 19-page statement, the Court of Appeal confirmed the judgment of the district court.

Thompson's process will begin with several cases of murder third degree and criminal vehicle murder next week. The indictment claims that in the Interstate 35W he drove a rented Cadillac Escalade 95 miles per hour in 2023 when a state force started him. Thompson took the outcome of the Lake Street in Minneapolis, kept his speed with a red light and fell against a car.

Sabiriin Ali, 17, from Bloomington, were in this car; Sahra Gesaade, 20, from the Brooklyn Center; Salma Abdikadir, 20, from St. Louis Park; Sagal Hersi, 19, from Minneapolis, and Siham Adam, 19, from Minneapolis.

Thompson, the son of the former to the democratic repon, John Thompson, allegedly fled out of the scene before he was arrested. The police found, among other things, a invited bell pistol and more than 2,000 fentanyl pills in the escalade. A federal jury found Thompson of illegal possession of a firearm and the intention of distributing fentanyl last year. A sentence date for this conviction was not determined.
