The student who was killed in the crash on the way to high school say officials

Highland, Ark. (Kait/Gray News) – A school district in Arkansas mourns after a student died on the way to school in a crash.

On Monday, the Highland School District announced that a junior at Highland High School died in an accident.

School officials did not identify the student, but said that they “traveled from outside the city to school on Monday morning” when the accident occurred “.

“Our rebel family mourn this loss and we extend our deepest sympathy for the family, friends and members of the student,” said the district in a press release. “While we navigate this difficult time, we ask our community to keep the family and our entire school in your thoughts and asked.”

The district said that he would support students and employees in the coming days.

This is the second student in this school district who die this school year in a crash. Brooklynn Grace Pendarvis was killed on the way to school on September 13th.
