John Elway publishes explanation after the death of a close friend in the golf car accident

After the death of his friend and agent Jeff Sperbeck, the NFL legend John Elway published an explanation that died of injuries on a golf car accident over the weekend.

“I am absolutely destroyed and broken with broken heart due to the death of my close friend, business partner and agents Jeff Sperbeck,” said Elway about Adam Schefter of ESPN. “There are no words to express the profound sadness that I have with the sudden loss of someone who has meant so much. My heart and deepest sympathy go to Jeff's wife Cori, his children Carly, Sam and Jackson; and everyone who knew and loved. Brought in life.

The former Broncos Quarterback was reportedly involved in the accident, which left Sperbeck dead. According to the TMZ, the two let the Elway drove on a golf car -when Sperbeck fell off the back and suffered a traumatic head injury.

The 62-year-old was “unconscious, but still breathed” when paramedics arrived and had been kept in a living in a local hospital in Palm Springs. He died of the injuries he had suffered on Wednesday.

The Sheriff's office in Riverside County examines the incident. TMZ reported that there was no indication that Elway drove negligently.
