Houston, Texas (KTRK) – A suspected drunk driver was arrested and charged with an accident with three vehicles in which a man in North Houston was dead.

The Houston police said that the fatal crash took place on Saturday around 7 p.m. in Bennington Street.

Abdul Jubay Davis drove a gray Ford F150 truck when he supposedly ran a red light and, according to the police, met a red Chevrolet Impala.

The investigators said the driver of the Chevrolet Impala lost control, rolled over and hit a black Honda Civic.

The 38-year-old driver in the Honda died at the scene and the driver of the impala was taken to the hospital.

According to the police, Davis' passenger was treated and released on site.

The 42-year-old was taken to the hospital and is accused of being drunk during the crash.

Davis is facing poisoning against homicide and, according to the police authority, remains in the hospital on Tuesday.
