The Niagara Falls' man, who was sentenced to a prison during the crash, in which the passenger was killed

Niagara Falls, NY (WKBW) – A man from Niagara Falls was sentenced to prison in connection with an accident in August 2022, in which a passenger was killed in his vehicle.

The district prosecutor in Niagara said on August 26, 2022 that 48-year-old Eric S. Gardner was behind the wheel of a vehicle that left Ridge Road in the city of Hartland, hit a tree and tipped over several times. A passenger in the vehicle, Stacey Donnelly from Lockport, was killed. According to this, Gardner's blood alcohol was over 0.18 of 1%.

Gardner owed himself guilty in March for the first degree.

“Today, the legal torture of almost three years brings in for Stacy's family,” said Brian Seaman, district prosecutor of Niagara. “The accused will pay a prize for his actions, although no sentence will ever pay back the family of Stacy for what they have lost.”
