Motorcyclists who were killed at SE Portland identified

Portland, Ore. (KPTV) – The police identified a man who was killed in an accident in Southeast Portland at the beginning of this month.

The crash occurred on Tuesday, May 13th, around 2 p.m. in the Southeast 80th Avenue area and in the Southeast Powell Boulevard. The police say that van and motorcycle are involved in the crash.

The 55-year-old motorcyclist David A. Dahlen from Portland was taken to a hospital in which he later died.

A man was arrested in Silverton on Saturday and, according to the police, will be charged with a hit-and-run run in December 2024, who killed a man in December 2024.

The police say that the van driver has stayed at the scene and cooperates with the investigation.
