Different Battlefield 6 film material gives bad company 2 vibes, says DEV, says DEV

The former Battlefield producer David Goldfarb has reacted to a newly created clip of Battlefield 6 -gameplay film material and said that it releases bad companies 2. For what it is worth, the game is not necessarily called Battlefield 6, but we use that until EA has an official title.

“Oh, the BC2-Vibes that gives me that,” said Goldfarb, adding that the film material (below) gives him flashbacks for the first time for the popular Arica Harbor card from Bad Company 2 from DICE.

Goldfarb added that the player movement in the leaked Battlefield 6 -Clip “looks a little strange”, and added that the character design appears “very general”. The gameplay film material shows a player who fights through buildings and turns against a tank on the floor that blows away its cover. It is a trademark Battlefield.

Goldfarb left cubes in 2012 after working on Mirrors Edge, Battlefield: Bad Company 1 + 2 and Battlefield 3. He then moved to Overkill to become the game director for Payday 2. He is now Studio Creative Director and CCO at Funcom developer The Outsiders.

The film material comes from the program to test the Battlefield Labs. So what we see is unfinished and should never be seen publicly because the laboratory tests forbid people to share footage. Nevertheless, numerous gameplay videos from the Labs program were created in the weeks and months. You can register for Battlefield Labs to give yourself the chance to get into a future test.

EA will officially reveal the new Battlefield game this summer. If it is the start at the beginning, it is published by the end of March 2026, but now that GTA 6 has delayed itself, some can theorize that it will come out this autumn.
