“So pointless”: Family pregnant woman who was killed by the accused drunk driver

A grieving Monroe County family shares her story after a pregnant single mother was killed by three children, supposedly by a drunk driver.

The background story:

Kaitlyn Ellison was in the seventh month pregnant, who was killed on Saturday evening by a suspected drunk driver on the US 23 near Monroe.

“I will miss her badly,” said Lori Ellison and talks about her daughter. “She was a very sweet, happy, loving mother.”

Monroe Sheriffs arrested the 24-year-old Hunter Suto from Ohio, who was charged on Monday afternoon for Kaitlyn's death. They say speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.

“So pointlessly. Drunken driving of this country has become ridiculous. It came out of his hand,” said Vickie Jensen.

Kaitlyn's daughter Riley has now lost both parents.

“It is incredible that I no longer have parents. My father died when I was like three,” said Riley Denny.

Now the 13-year-old Riley has to take care of the family without a mother or father.

“I promised my mother when I was right next to her and said goodbye,” said Riley. “I promised her that I would take care of her babies.”

Kaitlyn was in seventh month pregnant from her friend. Your future symbolizes with a promise of a promise. Now Reilly's ring.

“It is life. If I lose it, I don't know. I really miss my mother,” she said.
