The 22-year-old family who were killed in the Dui crash

Roanoke, va. – A local family says after her daughter was killed in an accident at the weekend.

The Roanoke police accused 21-year-old Xaviar Gaither because of the incident of Dui and homicide.

Officers say he accelerated on Sunday on the Gainsboro Road when he started a curb and turned the car.

One of his passengers, the 22-year-old Broiklin Goff, died at the scene.

Friends and family gathered today in a small monument that devoted itself to the memory of Broiklin.

“She lives with me, so I will miss that she is at home. I'll miss it to see her sleeping in her bed,” said her mother, Veronica Goff. I will just miss everything on her. “

She was also a loving aunt and always spent time playing stories or reading her young niece Kalani.

“We always played barbies and toys together,” said Kalani. “She repaired me muesli and things and she cooked lunch for me.”

Others remembered that they had life to the fullest, even though life was sometimes hard for them.

“She was strong,” said Brooklyn Parker. “She went through so much, she told me a lot of things she went through, and I don't even think I would have done it with this stuff and made it.

Relatives ask for prayers and share an important message for other drivers if they deal with this unexpected loss.

At that time, two other passengers in the car were also injured in the crash.
