The deputy Florence County dies after the crash, confirms Sheriff

Florence County, SC (WMBF) – A member of Florence County died on Tuesday afternoon after an accident on Olanta Highway.

The Sheriff's office of Florence County confirmed that the crash took place around 4:20 p.m. on the Olanta Highway near the Blackwells Farm Road.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said that the MP had driven north on the Olanta Highway, and a GMC SUV drove south when they collided.

The deputy and the driver of the GMC were taken to a hospital for treatment for treatment.

Sheriff Tj Joye confirmed that the MP succumbed to her injuries.

In a social media contribution from the district's emergency management, the MP was identified as Nate Ansay.
