Motorcycle security events in Boise Highlights increase in the event of accidents

Boise, ID (CBS2) – Motorcycle enthusiasts and law enforcement officers from Canada, Washington, Oregon and Idaho gathered on Wednesday to emphasize the importance of safe driving practices in relation to an increase in motorcycle accidents this year compared to last year.

“What we noticed with better weather is a lot of aggressive driving,” said deputy Jeremy Seibert and asked the drivers to be careful and pay attention to aggressive behavior on the streets.

The Boise police authority has reported 16 motorcycle accidents since January, including a death. At that time there were 12 accidents last year. The authorities encourage all drivers and drivers to prioritize security by wearing the correct protective equipment, remaining visible and keeping caution, especially at the left curve.

“A lot has to do with inattentiveness,” said deputy Seibert and emphasized the need for vigilance to avoid accidents.
