Smaller injuries reported to the Morrison County Morning Crash

Bowlus (Wjon News)-A driver had minor injuries in an accident with two vehicles in Morrison County.

The Sheriff's office says that the incident on Tuesday on Tuesday in Nature Road the Great River Road, about two miles east of Bowlus, took place shortly before 7:30 a.m.

23 years old William Conroy From Royalton west on Nature Road and 83-year-old Walter Beneke From Bowlus went east.

Conroy told the MPs that he had currently looked away from the street to find his cell phone, and he crossed the center line and met Beneke's vehicle.

sheriff Shawn Larsen says,

“This is an example of how quickly things can go wrong when a driver is distracted. We all encourage everyone to keep their full attention on the street at all times. If they let themselves out of the street for a second, they can lead to dangerous consequences. Fortunately, in this case nobody was seriously injured.”

Beneke was treated and published at the scene. Conroy was not injured.
