If you didn't already know, I am a shoe fanatic. My land wardrobe is 99 percent shoes – one percent of others – and I love all styles alike. Ballet gymnastics shoes! Mary Janes! One thing that I don't have to go into is is the wrong shoe theory, which is basically the idea that you combine an outfit with a shoe style that goes completely against your first instinct (thinking about wearing a summer dress with ballet flats, choose chunky black Mary Janes). I was afraid to take this counterintuitive fashion trend for a spin – until I saw Emma Roberts' latest outfit and knew that it was now or never.

Roberts was photographed in New York City after a Longchamp event. For the event occupied with stars (which celebrated the brand and more legendary bags of the brand), the actress wore a pink satin set that was reminiscent of her Schreier Queens Clothing of the character.
