Effingham man, who was arrested with arson and burglary after strolling crime

On Tuesday evening, the Effingham police authority reacted to a number of crimes with property damage and burglary on the Thelma Keller Boulevard.

Around 10:03 p.m., civil servants were sent to the land of the Lincoln Credit Union after reporting that a male suspect was harmful. During his route, the dispatchers informed the officials that the suspect also had violently joined Al's Tire Mart by broken his glass door.

The officers arrived at the scene within a minute and observed that the suspect fled from Al's Tire Mart. The person who was identified as Patrick D. Galen, 38, from Fredericksburg, Virginia, was arrested after a short chase.

Studies have caused damage to the land of Lincoln Credit Union, including the ATM. The authorities also combined with a vehicle fire at the Walmart parking lot on the Avenue of Mid-America at about the same time. Stolen property of Al's Tire Mart was recovered according to the bile level. While the total damage is still evaluated, it is expected that they are considerable.

Galen was taken to Effingham County prison and booked for arson, burglary, criminal employment and resistance or disability of a peace officer. The lawyer of the Effingham district is currently being recorded the fees without bond. Galen's initial court appearance to determine the authorization to continue to detention in accordance with the law on fairness before the procedure is planned for Thursday, May 22nd.
